About HCSTP
The Hinds County Senior Transition Program (HCSTP) is a federally-funded program aimed at high school seniors. It is designed to help prepare qualified graduating High School Seniors transition from the high school environment into an independent lifestyle at work or in college.
Once enrolled into the program, students participate in fun and exciting workshops facilitated by volunteer community leaders. These workshops take place at each school monthly.
Students will demonstrate mastery of the workshop material through the completion of various projects or exercises.
Upon successful completion of the program, the student is awarded a certificate of completion, a portfolio, as well as a $250 incentive.
With the guidance of Central Mississippi Planning and Development District, DREAM, Inc. is proud to coordinate the Senior Transition Program and look forward to helping Hinds County high school seniors make a successful transition from high school.
